Although after 3 weeks of phase I, and even though I have not cheated, I dabbled into phase II with some oatmeal and fruit on only 2 occasions. The scale is up a pound and I am determined not to be bored on phase I, for if I go to II and stop losing and lose even more slowly I will never know if it was the reintroduction of carbs, even complex carbs, that slowed me down. So I will keep my frozen strawberries frozen, and my oatmeal box closed. I think I made the right decision???

Maybe add in a bit of moving around if you add in the carbs? Or be sure to add in a good low fat protein if you have some not so good foods? Keep up the good work!

Yes, it's a good decision. If you decide to go to Phase 2, just don't eat so much (even on Phase 1 that's important). Good luck!
