Went home and weighed myself to see if my digital scale agreed with the manual scale at work. Stepped on and got 192.4. My scale has a function that tells you total body water and total body fat percentages, but you have to step on a second time to get that information. Stepped on a second time and got 193.0. Decided it was worth stepping on again because the fluctuations aren't usually so different on my digital scale and got 193.2?

This morning my weight was a solid 193.0 on the digital scale, so I am eager to weigh myself in the gym to see what it says.

I just want to get back under 190 again so I can refocus on running for health instead of running away from 200 pounds.

I've had this same thing happen with the digital scales. I'm not sure if I trust the body fat percentage given by these devices either -- they seem pretty off. If I were you I'd just go by what the scale at the gym says. It's not bad to have a ballpark answer from your digital scale though.

That's a good idea. This morning the digi scale read 192.4 and this afternoon the gym scale read about 192-ish. So I feel confident that there was some actual weight loss.
