Well, this is my very first journal on here. What a cool site! I'm so glad I stumbled upon it...
I'm on day 6 of Phase One with zero cheating so far. I do feel great, and I'm so excited! I think it's a great plan. I'm not weighing myself at all for one more week, until phase one is over, so hopefully I'll be encouraged by a big initial drop!
I am a young mommy of FOUR little ones. My baby just turned 2, and I'm finally for the first time in almost 6 years NOT PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING! I've always been "in shape" but not quite where I want to be. Luckily I had super easy pregnancies and very tiny babies and did not get any stretch marks or "saggy" skin. My goal is to look like the models in my "Self" magazines!
I'll start journaling my daily meals on here and whatever else I feel like writing about...my only problem really is being too full (I don't think I'm used to all this protein, my body was used to snacking on empty, sugary carbs all day every day...yuck!) and I have not been eating everything I'm supposed to be (oops!) Tomorrow my goal is to get all of my protein in! Well, hubby is home from work, so I'm off to do my 3 mile power walk/jog!

That is the nice thing about this plan. You are not ever really hungry. It just takes at least a month to get over that mental urge to snacky snack! But as long as you stay away from the wrong foods you won't get the cravings. Do you have the book yet?
