I'm thinking that this method of recording my eating does not seem to work for me as well as recording in my Palm Pilot (which is always with me). When I was tracking in my Palm, I could pre-plan and predict my points. But because of how in-depth this tracking system is, I find it difficult to play with possibilities and change my mind.

Now, this doesn't mean I'm leaving the site or that I'm going to stop tracking my weight, but I'm rethinking doing my food tracking here. (I'll probably use it primarily for recipes, so you may see an entry here and an entry there, but nothing consistent.

If the Palm Pilot is what you need for success, then definitely do that. I work in an office, so have my computer up all day. I just keep this site up, and when I eat something, I record it, so for me, its easier than when I use to write it down on a piece of paper. This site is great for many other things than just recording your eating habits too. Its a great support system, and even when you're having a bad eating day...or just in general, you can post here, and I find that people are really encouraging, and try to give you the best advice they can to help you get through it.

Indeed, I plan to continue to use it for a support system... I'm just going to feel my way for a while to try to figure out what works best for me. It's too easy (for me) to get in over my head and be tracking things in six different places. Then I can use the excuse of being too busy and splurge in secret (though the scale will always keep me honest).
