quick, both of you! go to the supermarket, go to the dairy (don't look at anything else) and think of who much weight you've lost. fill up a basket with butter (or lard, your choice) teh equivilatn of how many lbs you've lost and hold it for like a minute or two just to see how much wou've lost. then put it back. be glad it's not on you anymore! we can do this! Skinny Vibes to you both Ruthi

LOVE whollybolognas idea! Come on girlfriends! How about posting those before & after pics again graciepoo...you're looking pretty hot! Maybe a reminder of how great you're really doing?

I'm gonna have to try the whollybologna idea. I agree with you. summers coming and the lake and that means rum and cokes. Guess need to wrap head around life style change. It sure is hard.

Better yet, lift it in potatoes!!! You girls are on your journey, and you do NOT want to be the way you were before you began. I tell myself sometimes, "I may not be where I want to be, but I am NOT where I used to be!!!" And neither are you. YOU ARE WORTH THE EFFORT. Believe in yourself, and love yourself enough to do the right thing. You are a work in progress, and you are beautiful!!!!

I hear you on the motivation, Graciepoo. You have to be patient with yourself and remember that you have been here doing this for a long time! Of course your motivation will come and go. I don't think anyone dan be completely motivated every day for over a year ... unless your name is 'information' ;-) I also struggle with this quite a bit. Time takes a toll on motivation level. Do you have smaller goals that seem reachable that you can go for? Are there little rewards you can give yourself along the way? Maybe those could be motivating: figure out something you want as a reward and set a small goal that is doable for you to reach. Of course, whollybalogna's idea is a fun one. In the long run, though, we need to be creative in our motivating strategies and keep up with each other. I say this as much for myself as for anyone else. :)

Maybe we should do like Imluuvd did long ago and pick up a big sack of dogfood. that might be easier!!

You can do it !!! We all have those days (or week in my case LOL!!) Just think for every bad day you probably had 4 or 5 good ones???? That's already a big step ahead. This is probably one of the hardest things we have had to do but, were doing it !!! Good Luck !!
