CheeseHippy's Journal, 04 September 2007

It's only day two, but I've been using up my spare time at work researching new recipes to make. I tried this diet last year, but I wasn't prepared enough. I've since realized the value of planning ahead - if I know what my next meal is going to be and I have all the ingredients in my fridge and pantry, it's a lot harder for me to bother with cheating. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

I don't own a scale, so I'll be weighing myself once a week when I commandeer my parents' washing machine to do my laundry (gotta love kids, right?). That said, I probably haven't lost an ounce yet, but I already feel better about the choices I'm making. And that makes all the difference in the world.

You are on your way!!! It is so important to be prepared...usually when I'm even tempted to cheat is when I allow myself to get too hungry...I always need to have something different too...I've been recipe hunting myself!!!
