Interval running today. Short very hard dashes, followed by walking. 2 miles of this caused full legs cramping and the feeling of wanting to vomit. Slow jog home, trying to stretch my legs as much as possible. With Ibuprofen, felt euphoric all day. Slight weight loss, finally.
Ate eggs for breakfast, beef for lunch, fish, broccoli and yams for dinner as well as some chocolate for snacks. Third day of no alcohol, 4th month of almost zero wheat.

Nice, love the intervals. Sounds like you did too much. I can't run so I do them on the elliptical machine. They say 7 intervals is plenty, no more. I started 20 seconds on (taken to the edge of collapse) and 100 seconds at recovery pace and have slowly worked it up to 45 seconds with 75 seconds recovery. They also say only twice per week as of you can do more than 7 intervals or more than twice per week, you are not working hard enough. I do them every 4th day. The best part is the whole workout is down in 20 minutes including warm up and cool down and I feel I have done more than an hour of serious fat burn exercise.
