I got my first lap-band fill last Thurs. so this is my first day on real food, again. I now have 4cc in an 11cc band. I wasn't able to get my protein in earlier, but can now, but can't seem to get enough calories in. It is something I will need to work on, since I don't want to have my body go into starvation mode and begin a stall. I weighed this a.m. and had picked up a pound. I didn't record it because I think it is water weight for a day or so. If I weigh in another couple of days and it is still there I will record it and count the gain.
Having restriction after this fill is a new learning curve. This noon it took me 35 minutes to eat 3oz. of pulled pork. That is about right, but I also can't drink as much so it is harder to get my fluids in. If I need to add snacks during the day to add calories it will be even harder to get all my fluids because of the 30-45 min. after eating rule.
Saturday and yesterday I seemed to graze and crave a lot, so I am going with pre-planned meals and snacks instead of winging it and then counting.
