I had two small strawberries. The first fruit in a month! Wow! Super sweet. It's amazing how the taste buds change when you've been on the no sugar wagon.

Funny isn't it? I cheated and had two pineapple chunks this weekend. It tasted AMAZING! This diet definitely gives one a new appreciation for nature's candy found in fruits. For a "non-cheating" treat, I was able to find a box of cocoa covered coffee beans at the store. There are 15 carbs per 20 pieces. I occasionally have just one piece to curb a chocolate craving ... it works (and is less than 1 carb)! Yummy.
