I got up this morning and walked for the first time (in a long time). I was amazed (dismayed, actually) that i was short of breath after 15 minutes. I try to tell myself that if I don't get too wacked out about not being able to run a marathon on my first day, it will get better. Hard, hard.....I'm impatient! And I'm also getting older (70 last birthday) so I don't have a lot of time to become a fitness buff! LOL, as the saying goes.
So I'm trying not to think about it - just do it. Oh, there's a saying about that, too, isn't there??!!
p.s. I have two questions for folks out there. Can someone tell me how to post a comment on someone else's journal? It invites me to do so, but then I can't find a button that will do it.
And.....would anyone like a buddy? I think I could use one! DrL
