The more I read, the worst it get...
p.s. I'm wondering what's the best way to estimate how many calories one burns in a day. I know there are some formulas out there, but am a little confused as to which is the best.
Suggestions, anyone???

Goethe - i can soooo relate to what you wrote - "the more i read, the worse it gets". Indeed!

I got pretty sold on the low carb/Atkins type thing for a while and have to say it really does work if you follow it - but i became so obsessive about carbs and how many and what kind and why, i was driving myself crazy. Not to mention it's VERY hard to eat no carbs except vegetables. I agree with kingkeld: "Consume less calories than you burn".

That's what I'm trying to do now - it's a new way of going at it and I'm not very good at it yet, being used to eating pretty much as much fat, butter and cream as i wanted on Atkins. But it feels more real and natural and i think i just have to practice for a while - like writing everything down! I did that for yesterday and nearly fainted from the shock!
