FYI~ My weight fluctuates throughout the day by 2 lbs... I am staying away from the Atkins products for now. I had to stop because my weight has stalled for the last 3 weeks and I feel they may have something to do with it. Very frustrating! As of yesterday, I cut out sugar-free jello as well because I found it sparks my cravings for sweets, especially at night when my cravings hit hard. . So while I am in the induction phase, I will just eat meat, cheese, vegetables, and avocado and see if this kick-starts my weight loss. =D

Are you drinking "LOTS" of water? I drink tons. Whenever I feel the need to put something in my mouth I take a good long drink of water first.. seems to be working for me.
RE: Atkins bars, I believe your right. My son works long hours and so he eats a couple of them a day, his weight has not gone done for the past 2 weeks. I was wondering if that was the reason too. I'm thinking we (he & I) need to watch carefully which bars we eat. Somthing to think about.
I just bought my first sugar free jello yesterday, hope it doesn't do that to me, but I can understand what your saying. I have to stay away from fresh baked breads.
Hang tough.. I had a week where I didn't lose anything either. 2 weeks in a row would trouble me to. Good Luck friend.

You have a great plan. Those Atkin's products and anything with sugar alcohols do a number on my belly. Dr Atkins warns about Aspertame and it's ability to mimic sugar in your body -- it does for me. I avoid it for the most part and I think jello has it. I had to give up my diet coke because it raised my blood sugar - crazy huh. I have been at this a long time and the longer the more I find I'd rather stick with real food and not make foods that are SF versions of what got me to 240lbs in the first place - so your plan of meats, cheese, veggies, etc., is real food and you're going to do real well with it.

I agree with all of the above. Also, cheese: I love it, love it, love it. But, it does make me bloated :/ I've actually stopped using shredded cheeses and have started using grated Parmesan cheese. It doesn't affect me in the same way, it still enhances my food, I don't need to use much of it, and it is lower in carbs. As for the water: Yes, drink lots! It helps keep you feeling full, and it will flush out fat cells. But, do be careful with your Sodium intake. I started retaining water a week or so ago. I lowered my Sodium intake, and began to lose weight again. Another thing, make sure you're getting plenty of Fat. I know it may sound redundant, but getting enough Fat in your diet will actually help you lose. Good luck to you!

Wow! Read all the comments above and there is alot of GREAT information.. I am struggling with the water intake.. I try my hardest to drink 8 cups a day but by the time I get to 4-6 cups I stall.. I'm working on it..
