I feel like I have a hangover!! Last night, I took my boys to a local icecream place. I'd been give $20 worth of gift certificates over last school year that I'd not used. I went thinking at first I'd get a small cone and be done.... then at the window I debated with myself, did I really want one? And what did I end up ordering????? A fudgenutter ice cream sundae no less!!!! And I ate the whole thing and after thinking it really wasn't that good! OMG what got into me???? So 2 hours later, I notice I am falling asleep in my chair (something I rarely do since going on FF. Then I notice the 'bloated' feeling in my stomach and then got crampy. I finally had my LLC and went off to bed. I slept fitfully and then when I woke this morning, I felt in a haze and like I had a hangover!!!! Remind me NEVER to do that again! I do believe I'm lactose intolerant.

That and all that sugar overload. Yikes. Every time I have tried to have any type of dairy I get the stomach cramps and the bloating. And I grew up on a farm with dairy cows having cream and milk straight from the cows. No wonder I always had the big tummy my whole life. I feel so great since giving up dairy. NO MORE ICECREAM FOR YOU! Hopefully the bad feeling will pass as the day goes on. chris

Okay thanks for reminding me that ice cream is no good.

Maybe try frozen yogurt next time. Still the same chilly, sweet, sensation with less fat & calories. Whenever I go overboard on carbs, especially white flour or sugar, I get really lethargic. I have dubbed it "carb coma."
