Didn't get to the gym due to car trouble but I did take a nice long walk at a pretty good pace. Had the munchies big time today but didn't cave in, even though my children practically begged for junk food! LOL. We are starting a new tradition in my family. We behave ourselves all week and make healthy food choices and on SUnday evening we get to have an incredibly delicious treat. We decide at the beginning of the week what that treat will be. I love it because when I am craving bad things, I just think to myself - you can hold out till Sunday. Just think how good it will taste if you've waited! - And voila, it helps. On Sunday I want to be able to really enjoy myself, without any guilt.
# weeks ago it was home made apple pie with ice cream. Last week it was brownie sundays with some slight modifications (ff brownies and 1/2 fat icecream - it was delish!), this week it will be home made apple turnovers with 1/2 fat ice cream. I am eally looking forward to it!
