I dont normally do these journal things, however things are improving as the pounds are dropping. I think I will start and share with anyone. If I can support someone who is going through what I did, all the better.

I am now an insulin dependant diabetic. Sugars went really crazy in June 2012, and things had to change or it would of have a more terrible impact on my life. When my sugars stayed elevated, I felt more terrible that I did in my entire life. I couldnt stay awake, I was lethargic, had fluid issues, eyes were having muscles spasms etc. My heart raced, I sweated like a pig, I got a rash all over my neck that was a skin infection, i ended up with a big hole under my toe where my skin had broke open, and a bladder infection to boot.

Once I had enough antibiotics for a horse in me, the infections gradually went away. Took several weeks, really strict eating, exercise and a will to live. This is my journey.

5 days a week I do 30 mins cardio and 30+ mins weight training. I also do about 30-40 mins in 3 little walks through the day, to keep my energy up.

I purchase a seperate mp3 player, for exercising. This is completely necessary if you need music to boost your mood and help you move your feet.

There is no sleeping in, skipping meals, or eating junk.

This is a new way of life, and I am loving it.

Diabetes you aint getting me!

I am 2.8lbs from my first 50lb goal. I am pretty stoked. :)
