Lets just say despite all my friends hopping the fitness train I have derailed while watching their children. I bit ridiculous don't yah think? Anyway life has been pretty um BULL lately Homeless sleeping on a couch and was without a job. So When I got my new job first check Eric and I gorged this weekend, I don't feel terrible about it, it has been awhile since I ate that well.

I realize I have anxiety of food. I now understand what my cat was going through when even though he had food all around the edge of his bowl the center was empty and that is a perfectly reasonable excuse to panic! Being only my income the past two years and spending many weeks only eating butter noodles or pancakes because we can't afford meat or vegetables, I started to panick when we run out of things, which increases my appitite which makes us run out of food faster. I just dream of a day I can stock MY OWN kitchen with food that will last a long time and be healthy.

I don't blame you for splurging on food when you got your check. When my husband and I were just starting out we had a baby and a lot of bills but not a lot of income, so we scraped by and made sure our daughter had everything she needed and our food was a lot of noodles, tuna helper, sandwiches, pancakes, or whatever was cheap. So, when I was pregnant with my son and we had more money I gained a lot of weight because I was eating more, it was like we weren't going to have it again. In time things will get better. It can be hard to eat healthy on a budget, but it can be done. With the paychecks coming in I'm sure you'll learn some tricks to buy healthy foods that will last. One thing that I make is a vegetable soup. It makes a huge pot then I can eat it for a week for lunch or dinner with a sandwich or something and any veggies I have left over I use in other cooking that week. I hope the new job works out and keeps you guys moving in the right direction and into your own place with your own kitchen. Good luck!!
