Good Morning Everyone. It is an amazing day. I am enjoying an Americano with cinnamon to start my morning. I had a great weekend doing house chores. As far as related items I have really noticed that the time I eat my last meal plus the number of carbs it contains is directly related to my evening BGL. Later in the evening (after 7pm) causes a higher level even if the carbs is consistent from day to day. I am tying this to my Insulin dose in the morning and that the intermittent is done at the 12 hour(ish) mark. To me this means that all the additional insulin is out of my system by 7pm. Where am I going with this - well I am going to talk to my doc in a week about reducing my dosage as I am feeling like I have to add carbs to my diet to keep from having Low BGL...which has occurred more than I like in the past few weeks. I don't think my pancreas is functioning again or ever will but I am sure I can reduce even more carbs to offset it basic lack of concern for the rest of the system. I am still just constantly amazed at how our human mechanics function. other than the above conversation and my slacker pancreas I feel really good - energy and weight are pretty stable. I hope that everyone had a great weekend and found a chance to pursue their joy on this journey.
