I lost over an inch off my waist but only lost 1 pound! So in my experience it is true about the low-carb'ing - you lose fat but not muscle. And perhaps the wheat-belly theory is true too because I am losing it mostly in my waist. Before I only lost weight the one place I didn't want too, my boobs.
