I can't believe I'm still awake! It was a nonstop day. Started with a 40 mile bike ride this morning - including a wonderful breakfast at a neighboring town where my husband met me. Then hosted a bridal shower (not at my house, but at the church). And our daughter and grandson have spent the rest of the day evening with us. I felt better today after my bike ride than the previous 2 days - I think after 3 days of 40+ mile rides back to back my cycling leg muscles are finally kicking in. Also, the breakfast I had 13 miles into the ride stayed with me well so I wasn't light headed or feeling like I was going to bonk. Wish I could say it was healthy, it wasn't - 1 egg, 1 slice toast (homemade bread), 2 links sausage, and 1 pancake with butter and syrup and 2 cups of coffee - perfect!

Sounds like good bike fuel to me. I hope my cycling legs kick in soon - my third day today was hard. Going to garden now.
