End of the Eight Week Blood Sugar Diet! I did a total of 4 weeks (not consecutive) at the plan's 800 calorie level, the rest was low carb-to-keto, and still low calorie, and there were two over-the-top days. Results: Gave up 15.6 lbs and 4 inches from my waist. I have to say that most of those improvements came during the first 3 weeks of the diet in which I lost 11 lbs and 3.75 inches from my waist. I also did 16:8 intermittent fasting in the last couple of weeks. While it may help improve insulin resistance I'm not sure there's a noticeable difference in my weight loss progress.

So if your health allows and you want to lose weight fast this program will get it done. And for those who stand by the notion that rapid weight loss isn't good and causes quick regains, studies have shown this is not the case. In fact, those who lost weight rapidly were more likely to stick with their programs longer. Regain statistics are equally bad for the fast and slow losers. There is a private and well-monitored support site on Facebook for people doing this program that is excellent and very encouraging.

Though I'm barely into the 170's, it's very exciting since I haven't been there in 4 years.
179.8 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Trackin' you have gotten some great response and I for one am really ready to start this program. I have his book on my Kindle. I will look for the online group in FB and found his website, too. I want to get under 200 before Sept 30th. It is my mission. I am tired of bouncing up and down 2 lbs, etc. Well done, my friend. I am very proud of you!

Thank you, mom2boxers. If you want to do it you will probably find it easier than some do to drop to that 800 calorie level since you're already in ketosis.

Hey Trackin .... day one and I weighed in at 199.8 lbs! How about that! I hope so. I was hungry in the middle of the night last night. I drank water.
