I'm really, really, really discouraged! I haven't weighed in since Aug. 27th and I only lost ONE-HALF OF A POUND and tomorrow I'll probably be up two pounds. On some days I've eaten less than 1,000 calories and still I haven't eaten any bread, potatoes, rice or pasta since I started this diet. I should be losing weight like crazy! Why can't I lose weight? I'm really thinking Mother Nature wants me to weigh 180 to 185. The first week of my diet I ate only the food that came in the Nutri-system Turbo package and they said I should have lost weight. I DIDN'T!
180.5 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 25.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I'm no expert believe me - I'm struggling too but if you lost 4 pounds that first week that is not typical. Now 1 month later, you are still 4 pounds down which is 1 pound per week which IS normal. So, I think you're on the right track. Had you put the 4 pounds back on then you'd be off track but 1 pound per week is the right track!! You don't want to lose too fast. Slow and steady wins the game here. Stick with it.

you lost weight the first week of your diet you said so maybe the turbo worked for you. I don't know which way you are going as yesterday you said atkins and you definitely are over your carbs to lose weight that way. You should be eating more low carb veggies to fill yourself up and getting quality protein you should not be starving yourself. whichever diet plan you decide those two are a couple staples of any diet. Make a nice zuchinni boat with some salmon and no sugar mayo. make healthy salads with no sugar dressing. so many option out there to fill up and not feel so empty
