Yikes. My weight jumped due to one vegetarian meal at Wild Oat, mainly due to fluid retention(and a big bran muffin). At home our meals are low in sodium so when we have a restaurant meal I pile on a couple of pounds. I'm finding it harder to lose weight lately too. I'm walking an hour a day and staying under 1000 calories but seem to be stalling on the dreaded plateau. I think I have to lift some weights, walk 15,000 steps and climb a few more stairs.

1000 calories ? Maybe try to up it just a bit. Changing your calorie intake every day to average it to where you need to be works for me.

That's a good idea Nikki. On days I eat more I'll make sure to be more active too. Today was great--I had a tasty piece of vegetarian pizza and a delicious Niagara peach and then kept busy by cutting the grass, going for a walk and then going birding for a few hours. Lots of moving today.
