Texas Heat's Journal, 14 August 2018

Today is the first day of my new challenge. I know this will be a good challenge for me because I love to lift weights and eat LOL. That is all good for the weightlifting results but not good for my mid-section or for my appearance, OR my health. I'm no spring chicken anymore. So, I've decided to try and hold on to my strength while losing weight. Not an easy thing to do. So it seems, it takes mass to move mass. My weight has been between 225-235 within the last month. Additionally, I have mountains of stress in my life. I work two jobs that are equally demanding, a human wife that is...I don't have words, two human children under four that are bursting with energy, three horses, two dogs and two cats all of which need attention and drive me bonkers.
I know I have been blessed in many ways and there isn't room for complaints. I wouldn't have a clue as to what it feels like to be bored. I'm lucky to get 4 hours of sleep/night most nights and I know that isn't good but it is what it is. I think I would look good at 200 pounds so I entered this challenge to help get me there. After my workout today I weighed in at 226; lets see if I can do this. Whoop!!!
226.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
