O....M.....G....

For those thinking water aerobics are for ‘little old ladies’ think again! Lifted yesterday as I knew we were doing water aerobics today so I took advantage of the trainer being absent to see what my max 3sets of 5 reps would be. Sore this morning but stretched it out and again during class today. 30m cardio, 10 min changing then 5 min stretch and on to water aerobics. Our trainer knows I push myself so she slyly told me I could add more resistance by keeping the water weights 6” lower in the water.

Well as I’m ME and that means competitive as well as liking challenges...I took this as a hallenge. I. AM. SO... SORE!! ‘Sure I’d love to go a bit longer’ ‘no thanks I don’t need to sit in the hot tub very long’ ‘I don’t feel bad at all’. I’m regretting every comment I made at the end of class and after lol. Shoot me now because I am headed to lay on the couch and hope I don’t have to roll myself off and crawl to the kitchen in 2 hours to make dinner.

Ha! laying down will just stiffen you up. Good luck with dinner if you take a nap.

Lol yeah I could barely walk when I woke up. Stiff and sore still. Would soak in a hot bath but we found a water leak tonight so we shut it off until we can fix it in the morning. Maybe I can help hubby and work some of the stiffness and soreness out ;).

Everything about your post made me laugh, including needing to crawl into the kitchen to cook dinner. Good grief, order in! You earned it!

Lol I’m glad you enjoyed my pain! (I’m kidding her of course but glad you got some enjoyment out of this post!). I DID roll off the couch but after stretching I was able to walk rather than crawl to the kitchen lol. We live in the country about 6-8 miles from city limits. Nobody will deliver. It’s easier to cook rather than try to find something the 5 of us can agree on when eating in town. Not to mention having to change, fix my hair as it now looks like I stuck my finger in an outlet... So I just made nachos and quesadillas for everyone to choose from. I had both 😭. Skipped the usual 2nd quesadilla that I would’ve had 5 months ago though. Made an experiment out of it. I’m still so very sore though lol. Have a water leak so shut off the water over night. I may have to skip the bath but I’m considering hunting down my heating pad.
