I was "coincidentally" led to this website after reading a re-post of a blog about someone using this site. The blog was about losing, regaining and re-losing very large amounts of weight and how a lifestyle, rather than a diet was chosen to succeed. Myself and my husband (who is quite fit and only needs to lose a small amount of weight)and I will be launching into The Primal Blueprint lifestyle (again) where we have found success and comfort in the past, as well as beginning P90X next Monday, 8/13...we have also used this program in the past and had great results...just didn't stick with these lifestyle choices and gained back our losses. I have been very fit in the past, a couple of times...but am currently at my very heaviest and desperate place of 250 with an ultimate goal of 155. Right now, getting under 200 would be amazing! We have 2 VERY special trips planned for next year...one to Costa Rica with our family, where I WILL be fit, active and engaged...the other to Sedona, to renew our wedding vows after 21 years with dear friends. I won't view these 2 things as a stopping point, but will definitely use them as motivation! I refuse to take another amazing trip only to sit back and watch everybody else enjoy the action, feel comfortable in their own skins and focusing on their experience. My fat is so distracting...it is all I seem to concentrate on and I want to be done...I just joined the 15 pounds in 3 weeks challenge...exactly my first goal...here I go!
