I really screwed up this afternoon.
I had to go out and I was going to go to my exercise with my dog and i realised that I was really hungry. I also had to go to the supermarket and my resolve just broke down. I didn't even try to think what i might buy that would help me through this and fuel me up enough for my hike. I just wanted junk sugar.
I don't really know how many cookies i ate. I bought two packets one chocolate chip and one cornflake biscuits. I ate a fair bit. Didn't do my exercise but i had my dog with me so she had to have hers so we went somewhere she could swim and chase sticks etc while i sat and read the paper and ate biscuits.
Came home. I was tired so i went to sleep for a few hours. I still have to eat my vegie stuff but will not have with the pasta. I need to find a way to make it palatable. the best thing would be to put some meat in it, or some yoghurt and turn it into a smoothie. Imight even be able to make it work with just water and swallow it like medicine. I will see....
I also bought an egg sandwich when i was at the supermarket i haven't added that yet. Anyhow, normally i am much worse when i stuff up like this so i am not going to fall of this wagon. Its back on again for me in the morning.

Just get back to it! Also try not to grocery shop when hungry. 😊

sugar is so addictive, I've been there. I've cut out all processed white sugar and replaced with stevia or coconut raw palm sugar for my coffee. I also detox and cleanse constantly with apple cider vinegar & special organic or vegan products to keep cravings at bay. I've noticed always having tons of fruit available for those cravings help them subside. I've learned the hard way to eat something before going to the store too, even handful of raw almonds help substantially before going to the store! 😊

What type of diet are you on? I am on the Keto diet, and it has really helped me curb those cravings (love sugar... correction loved sugar LOL) so when I want something sweet I make Chia Pudding, 2T chia seeds, coconut flakes unsweetened 3T, unsweetened almond/cashew/coconut milk 1/2c, and let it sit for about 30+ min... you can also have this ready to go as a Popsicle or in the fridge. Also on the Keto diet you can eat sugarless chocolate in reasonable amounts, I like ChocZero with natural sweeteners (monk fruit) having choices on hand really helps. You can even go for the Atkins bars (I cannot milk allergy)
