I think I stretched my pants out. It's the only explanation that I can come up with that makes any sense. Instead of folding down every time I sit and digging into my side they are staying in place and move separately from my body. Like when I walk.. I can feel the waistband move back and forth. Wait a minute!! Is this what skinny people experience when they wear clothing that fits?? Not skinny jeans. Skinny jeans can't feel comfortable on anyone. It's the weirdest sensation to not have your pants be on you like gravy on a biscuit.

The thing is.. I've been ok on my diet but not great. I've been working out 1 or 2 times a day. I do the workout video in the morning and then depending on how motivated I feel I might go to the gym and run on the hamster wheel for 20-30 minutes. I don't think I lost any weight. If I have I would be kinda shocked. Just sayin... even running on a hamster wheel can't reverse that poptart I'm totally not admitting to have eaten. I've been avoiding the scale for several weeks now. It's there. I just refuse to have any contact with it because it says mean things to me. To be honest even with this whole pants thing I'm not even tempted to know what I weigh now. This could be because my pants seemed to fit ok yesterday and this pair seems to be stretched out.

Maybe they got strangled to death in the washer on a spin cycle. Wait.. washers don't have that center thing anymore that bras used to get trapped on and then it would whip them around and stretch out one strap but not the other so I'd have to walk around with one really long strap that would constantly fall off my shoulder. Huh.. can clothing strangle other clothing? Maybe the boys tried to use them as a parachute. Maybe these are magic expanding pants.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure being suspicious of your pants suddenly fitting differently may be a sign of paranoia especially since I refuse to believe weight loss may be the obvious answer. Just sayin... I should probably take a nap now.

It takes time to start dropping those kilos. I always try to remind myself that I had been putting on all this extra weight in a long periode of time, slowly. So I can't get rid of them quickly :-) All changes count in the long run, eating less, moving more. Keep up the great job and remember this sensation of the lose trousers on your waist. I can't wait for taking out from the wardrobe those jeans one size smaller :-)

Smaller waist trumps lighter weight. Unless you ask your feet.
