Type 1. Family unemployed Since last Oct. Maybe starting a new job. Never had money. Can't be on foodstamps, apparently. Local dinners, free, not healthy. How long can I go without eating?

Sorry to hear about your difficulties and know that you will get them sorted. It is possible to fast for a long time. If you have not fasted before, you can start with a 48 hour fast.
