Major pain in the mouth. I'm living on ibuprofen and pain meds. Got so bad yesterday I went to my retired dentist's practice and walked in. Saw someone yesterday afternoon. He thinks it is a root canal gone bad (root canal and crown the quack dentist did). Plus the crown was too high and was hitting. He took down the crown height, gave me antibiotics and I'll have the tooth extracted next week. I could go to an endonontist and try to repair the root canal but I don't have that kind of money. I also don't have money to do a bridge or an implant. Bummer. I'll have a space. I'll look "north Idaho" then.

I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in soon and the pain decresases. He suspects it is infected.

Scale is being mean even though I am being "good."

You know Carol when I bit that planters peanut and broke my tooth and they agreed to pay for it I should have said implant but I didn't and got a dump horrible plate with one tooth on it that feels awful. It is on the side of my mouth and noticeable when I smile. I haven't worn it since I got married and I don't care. Now that is liberating.. Hope you are feeling better tonight.

Yes Cathy I do remember that. When they take out my bum tooth they are going to do a bone graft so later ... when my ship comes in ... I can do a bridge or an implant. I'd love to do an implant but holy moley ... don't think my budget can handle that and my dental insurance only covers $1000 a year of "covered" charges. I made it through today but have been in pain ALL day. Hopefully the antibiotics will start to calm down the infection and thereby lessen my pain soon. I have to work tomorrow but not nearly as client busy as today. I had 4 home visits today so lots of talking. I've been popping ibuprofen like candy. Hope I'm not killing my liver. I'm not worried about the space for vanity's sake ... just don't want my other teeth to go too!! LOL!!!
