Progress! I can walk without a boot and with just sturdy shoes. I am not allowed to walk the dogs until next week, but at least I can get around the house, the yard and do my own errands like a "normal" person. Relief.

In the pool, I've amped it up since it's the only place I can exercise with any exertion right now. I have no idea on the yardage (got to find a solution), but I'm counting strokes and keeping track of the level of exertion and I can now swim pretty hard for the entire thirty minutes with only the short resting periods I would have gotten between sets in training. It's funny, I like it when I finish whatever "set" I've made up and I'm short of breath, it shows me the progress. I've always been weird that way.

I've also been doing twenty minutes of resistance exercises in the water to work on my foot muscles and overall flexibility. We will defeat the desk demons!

Today, we weigh in, I suspect I may actually be up a little, but it's upper body muscle gain. I can tell in my arms and in my legs. My skinny jeans are starting to fall off if I bend down - oops. My quads are beginning to pop again and I feel stronger. I can also see the muscles in my arms again - that has to be from this last week with the hand paddles and no legs at first. My homemade pool float is no longer floating. I guess the water soaked into the inner bubbles and it will never dry out.

Edit: Down 1 on the "official" scale. Going to have to be good enough. Did I mention that I wore a belt? And cement shoes? Seriously though, I knew it was going to be like that. At least I'm in the 150's on their scale now. :P
