day 10 of Atkins, 2 of the 35+ challenge, also day 2 of walking with my neighbor - man my knees and back are letting me know that I am NOT being nice to them, after not making them do a whole lot for a long time...I've had mild arthritis in my lower back for 30+ years, but of course I'm a lot heaver now than I was when I was diagnosed...
Anyway, I found out that my neighbor walks almost every day in the morning (they haven't lived here very long, and I guess I'd never noticed) so the other morning we both happened to be in our yards at the same time, and she mentioned she was going for her walk and I asked If I could join her - (I like to walk, I just hate to do it by myself)so now I have a walking buddy - woot!
so - down 9 lbs since the 9th, going to visit our daughter and new granddaughter(she just turned a year old this month)in Arkansas in September and hoping I'll be down quite a bit more by then - I'll have another 3 weeks after I get home till this challenge ends and hoping I can hit that 35lb mark (or more!) at the end...and confident that with Atkins and this challenge, I'll do just that! :)
