First day!

Breakfast - 1 cup chocolate almond milk, banana, peanut butter smoothie
Snack: 1 lightly salted rice cake and 1 tbsp peanut butter
Lunch: 2 slice bread, 1 slice Monterrey cheese and 1/2 field roast sage apple sausage, plum, handful of almond
Dinner: 1 1/2 c pasta, 1 cup chickpeas tomato and onion sauce, 1/2 c broccoli/carrots
Dessert: 6 small vanilla cookies

Exercise: 20 minute hike

Looks like a nice variety and good job on the hike! Do you feel hungry between meals? I definately have. Need to focus on small, low calorie snacks...more veggies to fill me up, maybe? What kind of bread did you have? It's so filling and comforting.

Thanks. Yes, good hike! I tend to count out 26 almonds and then snack on those throughout the day. Plus I munch on peas from the garden and onion tops that are really sweet and juicy. I try to drink 2 32 oz bottles of water too, which helps curb the appetite too. I'm going to make a rule of no alcohol during the week and no food past 7' unless it's popcorn during a movie... Looking forward to the beach walk tomorrows,

We do rudi's nut and oat bread, or sourdough that I make. Hard to figure out the nutrition on that though!

Onion tops! This is new to me. Is it the 'hairy' part or greens from your garden? Oh yes, water. Need to remember more of that. The bottle is a good way to track consumption, as well. See you bright and early!!
