The weekend is over and I did OK on the meals but not so good on the desserts. I was careful not to stuff myself at mealtimes and was cautious about what I ate. As for desserts, I did have pie all three nights when I should have saved it for Sunday evening for my cheat meal of the week. I tried to justify it by telling myself that I worked all day on Saturday with very little downtime, but that is just an excuse. I must be more thoughtful about the sugar and carbs going into my body because they are the cause of my health issues. I must limit myself to only two desserts a week, Friday at moms and Sunday at home. Let's see how this week goes and maybe my journaling will get better.
