Improvement comes when I actually stick to my food plan - no extras. A "treat" is fitting into my pants and having a romantic long walk in the park with my husband. A "treat" is not an extra serving of bread. I love myself enough to say no to the small, temporary wants so I can say yes to the big, happy-life wants.
