Yay, heading in the right direction:-) So now trying out the 5:2 plan...will give it 2 weeks and then decide if it is sustainable
I tried and failed to eat 500 calories yesterday...couldn't resist having a samoosa so ended up on 813 calories( I didn't prepare - thought I would wing it). My next low calorie day is tomorrow and I feel more prepared...been reading and surfing the net looking for 500 calorie day plans plus the 5:2 blogs/chat rooms available online have been amazing.
217.2 lb Lost so far: 3.3 lb.    Still to go: 29.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
