Pleasantly surprised. :) These are the reasons, I think:

-Connected to my chiropractor (who's also a master's level nutritionist) through "my professionals" here, and after reviewing some of my logs he had some great suggestions about mindful eating, portion control, and avoiding grains. He recommends "40-40-20"; 40% RDI each of protein and fat and 20% carbs. That feels pretty good to me. The extra accountability there is great too.

-My boyfriend's been taking me on awesome walks through our local park: each time we add in one more jogging interval. We jog until my asthma kicks in and I get chest pain, then walk it off. Waiting on my inhaler in the mail and we'll see if that helps even more. He's an amazing, athletic guy, SO positive and encouraging. <3

-Started taking chromium, as someone on here suggested. :) 200mgs twice a day. Combined with the metformin I take for PCOS, I think it's helping to to regulate my blood sugar and my other hormones. I do think it helps with my nightly carb cravings. They're not gone, but they've chilled out a lot.

-My last weigh-in was right before my time of the month, and this one is right after. Not to be TMI for the guys, but I had been like 2months+ late (not that unusual for PCOS ladies) and I think the Chromium may have helped to bring it on. Accidentally improving my PCOS symptoms while trying to lose weight? I'll take it. :)

-Getting used to the app and just how many calories different things have, how many I should aim for each meal, ect.

Aww, thank you for remembering about the stats exam, HCB! Studied hard for it the night before with my big brother who's taken it before. I took the exam in the disabilities office (I'm diagnosed with ADHD and I'm not sure about the label, but I'll take the extra time). It took me FIVE HOURS. I got a C! I'll take it after having failed the first exam. I need a C in the course if I don't want to re-take it, so it'll probably be an uphill battle all the way until it's finished.

Your doing great with your weight loss and you have given me some great suggestions for food to try! Congratulations of your Stats exam, I feel your pain of having ADD, as my son has ADHD and struggled through college but ended up graduating with a 3.2. You can do this, just take each class and one exam a day at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. Best wishes and live well!
