I went on a cruise last month, and wasn't careful when I came home. Determined not to let this discourage me! You can do it!

Vacations are a necessary part of life and not always do we need to be watching everything we eat. Now you could take months to recover or you could apply some intermittent fasting along with a little more activity and knock most or all of this gain off in a month or less. For sure all 15 pounds is not fat gain...so likely you can knock five or more pounds off quick just losing the carb/water bloat. Not sayin you have to...but just that you could.... :-) Hope you have a great week, take care Madanjen!!

Thanks for the comments and words of encouragement. I know I didn't gain that much fat because I drank alcohol in one form or another just about every day so much of it must be water. I did eat extremely well (in the decadent sense of the word)and often but I have done this before (gain on vacations) and I lost it and then some. So I am back on track today and hope to get back to where I was the middle of next month and continue down from there. Have a great week everyone and keep your eye on the goal.

I am looking for some type of bread with less carbs or no sugar added. Does anyone know of such a bread? PM me of you would like or post on here since I may not be the only one this info could help.

wow so disspointed.gl on your march back. did you know 90% of diets fail due to commitment

I truly believe that alone4ever78. That's why I am not on a diet. I have actually changed my lifestyle. I have changed to eating delicious healthy foods. I also have changed my lifestyle when it comes to exercise; I exercise every day to some degree. The VACATIONS was also accounted for and I knew this would happen, but not to that extent! Lol. So it's all good.

I totally sympathize. I have been like a yo-yo since Christmas and the last few weeks have been so awful that I didn't weigh myself on Sunday. I'm trying to regain control so I can at least get rid of the bloat before I weigh in the next time. Then I need to get back down to my low so far of 195. Keep up your good work.

Where did you go on vacation? Was it worth it? I hope so! You can totally recover, no worries.

I'm glad you had a great time, and I bet the vacation weight will come off faster than you think!

I took a road trip to Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Las Vegas was a lot of fun!

I believe that skwhite and draglist. I am being somewhat conservative in my thinking.
