Thank you for youe encouragement. We are determined. I just have to be careful because being a diabetic my sugars drop real low. But I have lost 80lbs so far in last year and can do more. Have a great day

80 pounds is a great accomplishment and something to be proud of. How long did that take you. I have just been diagnosed as diabetic. My A1C was 6.5, but my doctor says I can turn this around if I eat less sugar and exercise more. I kinda fell off the wagon, but now I am going to try and move forward.

it took me about 6 months to git rid of 80lbs. My AIC was staying up around 13-14 sugars running around 400-500 on 4 shots p/day. I got infrection in my leg and they were going to amputate.Laid in hospital for several weeks and they saved my legs and feet. Did have to go thru 5 operations and skin graphs due to ulcers on feet. Got my mind made up lost weight and last A1C was at 7.6 My sugars are staying 80-120 now . No soft drinks and watching everything I eat. No sweets.

Nice drop and great news on the turn around you have made towards better health...diabetes runs in my family tree too and is why I ended up here at Fat Secret...I was active but poor eating habits had started me firmly into a pre-diabetic state...all good now but will need to be vigilent going forward. Great to have you and your wife here...if she wants to buddy up just have her send a buddy request. Most people will gladly accept a buddy request as long as you are looking to improve yourself and don't have a wierd agenda.
