aBitFat's Journal, 16 November 2015

...and I fell off the wagon. I mean big time. Pre-Halloween, Halloween, post-Halloween and then some! I had way too many private meetings with the Nutella pot, Halloween remaining candies and other extras (not to mention beer and wine).

But all that came from a need for comfort as I am quitting smoking (yay, I guess ;o) So now, after 2 weeks of food free for all, I'm getting back at it and I want to make some good progress. First step, keeping track of what I eat and then I'll see how it goes!

Keep it up you FatSecreters!

I fell off the wagon, got run over by several wagons behind it - but eventually got up and hopped on the next wagon passing by . . . we get knocked down, we get up again.

Thanks for the support on the smoking part! I did quit a long time ago, and then, for no reasons, I fell back in it. I've been struggling with moking on and off for the last few years but now I want to clean my act for real. Other than a slip on Sunday night, I've been away from the cigarette since the 8 of November (the hardest part is done, now is just keeping the good habit, and staying away from slips!). Thanks for all the support.

Congrats on the quitting smoking; weight can be lost and then controlled. The only way I could ever control smoking was to quit altogether (like I used to do quite often, before getting serious). The only thing I get evangelical about is smoking...and hate to even see people I don't know smoking "gaspers". Keep up the good work, regardless of how many "slips" may be out there, we can still kick our butts (pun intended).
