megan4's Journal, 07 April 2009

Yesterday was good exercise day for me - did my abs and shred in the morning, 20 min swimming and a walk in the afternoon. My daughter went with me - was the most time we've spent alone not arguing in ages (she's 15 and I'm not!) haha
Going out for dinner with friends - this will be my first time out since I started. Focusing on iced tea and a dinner salad...
Hope all the baseball fans had a good opening day - I'm a die hard Red Sox and Marlins fan - Marlins had an incredible game yesterday - hoping Sox do the same today.
My dieting attitude is really good right now - I put a bathing suit on yesterday and looked absolutely awful - but I was okay because I knew I must have looked much worse a month ago and that I'm going to look less worse a month from now. The lowest I have weighed in the last 10 years is 158 and I am at 162 right now after just 1 month. I'm going to do it this time - I just know it!)
161.6 lb Lost so far: 2.6 lb.    Still to go: 21.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

wow, you don't have that much more to go until 158, that is awesome! Good plan for dinner tonight, although you know you could have some grilled lean meat and steamed veggies if you get hungry watching others eat. Do you know where you are going to eat? WW has meals at Applebees, which is always nice. I remember being 13-15 and you will get through this difficult mother daughter time. My mom and I are super close now even with how much I argued. My daughter is turning 6... so I still have some time until she gets there. Glad to hear that you had a day without arguing and hopefully you have more of those nice easy days.

Wow, you really worked out hard. It was Reds opening day, they lost of course, which is typical for all Cincinnati teams with the exception of Bearcats football....lol..
