True story. A diary is a great way to reflect and make suddle changes and watch the progress we have made. making a list is another great way to get in the groove of change.

Yes! I just started walking for the first time in years. I struggle with chronic pain and some chronic illness. It’s not been easy but it’s been the change I need.

Get out of your comfort zone. I'm riding a recumbent bike at work. A very large co-worker says, "wow, how can that even be comfortable?" The problem is that as far as activity goes, this life is TOO comfortable. Sitting around and being comfortable and eating because your bored of being comfortable is what is killing us. Of course, I didn't say that. I did say "I am not about comfort." and left it at that.

@Diablo ~ yes yes yes! and good answer to your co-worker. I also can't understand some excuses like "there's no time to work out", "eating well is expensive". Contrary to some beliefs, we don't need hours of sweating EVERY day nor should our diets consist of rice cakes and carrots.
