Did a keto restart and am finishing the 7 day egg fast. It's working beautifully. Back in ketosis and lost 3 lbs this week.
145.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 9.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I do keto also and I did 4 days so far of the egg fast. It certainly does reset and put you back into ketosis. I have lost 1 pound a day, but better yet I am really working on disciplining myself. Thank you everyone for your support. This may not be your way of eating, but it is certainly working for me.

Sherman what is the egg fast what are u consuming let me know the plan; I got 28 lbs to loose to be out of the 200 range so I need all the help I can get send me the meal plan ok.

I've got 17 lbs left to go, I am stuck on a number and need a push. I'd like to hear about the egg fast, think I have seen it on internet. But really could use a push to brighten up my day.. just one Lb to tip the scale in my favor and it is driving me NUTS!!!!

I'm doing the egg fast found on "I breathe I'm Hungry" site. A great site with even a 12 week menu plan with recipes. Melissa Sevigny is the author.

Mlaurie, Norma, I am doing the egg fast right now and I'm on day 5. I have lost a pound a day and I am back into ketosis. I was at a stall for 3 weeks. You can Google it, or go on Pinterest and they have a lot of info, or you can go on the site I breathe I'm hungry. When I did this everyday I mixed it up just a little bit. Couple times I had a few shrimp with it, a couple times I had one anchovy on top, I've had green olives a couple of times, I've had green and red peppers a couple times, and I've had kimchi several times, I've had cheese and cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeno peppers. These type of things don't add carbs. That's the idea no carbs. After 3 days of no carbs you should be in ketosis and start losing. I only had two eggs per meal and two eggs at night equaling about eight eggs a day.

Sherran, thank you for the tip on the website and for the meal plan. I was not aware of that and I'm going to look that up. I'm on day 5 and I want to keep going on this. I'm really losing very well. I've lost 23 pounds so far but not on the egg diet alone, and I've lost two in around my waist. The whole thing is just amazing to me and it made me a believer. I was very skeptical. I just encourage you and thank you for being such an inspiration. You're doing great!

Sounds like you all are doing great - keto on! Basically you are doing a no-carb reset; you can also do chicken thighs or Atkins "fat fast" to get similar results.

Also, if you want meal inspiration, follow Retta Smith. She has lost over 200# and posts nice keto meals most days.

Thank you GZ9 for that tip. I'm really not up on keto that much yet, but I'm really trying to learn. I will look up that lady and see what I can learn from her. I've watched a couple of guys on YouTube, and several ladies that talk about the egg diet. I also watched the guy that was making chaffles & a lady that was making flatbread. There's a bunch of Keto stuff on YouTube. I enjoyed watching that all afternoon today. I will definitely look up the lady you're talkin about. Thank you again so much.
