1/2 a pound from my initial goal weight.

It is interesting to see how the same weight now and 25 years ago is configured on my body. As we age we lose muscle mass and the last time I weighed this weight I was playing soccer on a woman's 7 on 7 league. I didn't have much fluff then, but I still have about 15 lbs. of fluff now! I plan to start some weight training and work on strengthening my muscles as well as adding some more stretching.

My next goal will be 150 +- We will see. I am in no hurry as I won't be changing my way of eating once I "arrive." With Diabetes I have to make permanent changes. I refuse to trade a bite of food for my toes or my eyes or...?
165.5 lb Lost so far: 37.5 lb.    Still to go: 15.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 14.0 lb a week

I continue to incorporate fasting into my life -- especially as I am recovering from T2 Diabetes. Fasting helps significantly deplete the sugar that has been stored all over the body. Then by not eating carbs/sugars/grains etc. I am not bringing more sugars into the system. Fasting also is very good for reducing insulin resistance which is the driving mechanism for creating diabetes in the body. Dr. Jason Fung's "The Obesity Code," "The Diabetes Code" and "The Complete Guide for Fasting" are the best books for understanding and overcoming weight issues and/or Diabetes.
