OK, on a roll. What is helping me a lot psychologically is the fact that I know mathematically this has got to work. One pound of fat is 3,500 calories. Going negative 2,000 calories a day is going to lose me 4 to 5 pounds a week. So even if I have a few days where I'm even or even gain some weight, I know in the long run I am going to drop the fat. Really helps me from getting discouraged. Added weight could be because of added muscle (good thing), just drank a lot of fluids or I'm just due for a BM (disgusting but true). In the long run, the weight is going to drop. Hardest part is being patient. I want it off now, but in reality it will be 4 to 5 months before I get to my target. One day at a time...
