SETTING GOALS..goood sunday morning...on way back from walmart this morning was thinking about fatsecret..an all the things ive learned about myself an my healthier lifestyle that ive settled into..and also how ive learned that setting goals is a great way to motivate myself into achieving what i want to accomplish..not only for the week but also for the year and life..

last year it was about riding at least 15-20 miles per day to achieve a goal of 80 miles per week to hit 4500 miles by end of the year..im 56 miles from being there sometime in next 2 or 3 days..depending on if i get on bike/trainer today..riding every day i my body allows me to ride..motivates me to do more then just sitting on the couch an passing the day by..so easy to sit in recliner an be glued to the reruns on tv..this year coming up i want more ..i want to achieve better results both on the bike an i want to get back into walking just to get more exercise in..as i sit in recliner typing journal im thinking how i want more for myself ..challenging my body is what its all about..keeps me moving better..an by moving more i burn more calories..an in the end thats what its all about..burning off the calories you put in your mouth either as nourishment...or cause your a food addict...im more of a food addict..an even though ive settled into a healthier food style..i still get the urges to eat the wrong food..if only i could break the addiction..if only the bad food..didnt call my name from time to time...if only i would move more so that the processed food that enters my mouth would work off faster...its a cycle that i fight every day or 2...

well...time to close this..head to kitchen an fix my salad for later..change into riding clothes an get on bike/trainer..get a ride in for today..hoping to get a 20-30 mile ride in for a change...get closer to hitting my remaining
56..and just keep adding a few more miles on for the year..my total miles for next year..im thinking 7500..yes its alot more..but do able..just have to set a goal...an ride for it...

HAVE A GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT SUNDAY...Getting read to rain here...or might of already started...nice to be able to ride inside...an be dry...

Almost all of us are in the same boat WBH, we have lots more food temptations around us (especially this time of year) than we can possibly work off through exercise. Great that you've found an awesome way to not only burn calories but keep the whole body tuned up...the old saying "use it or lose it" really comes to mind. Sending my pre-congrats on hitting your 4500 mile goal and looking forward to seeing your 2018 progress. Take care!!

Thanks everyone ....just finished a indoor ride...37 miles left..getting so close...and smiles seeing my goal coming to an end an a new one starting...
