I ate really well yesterday! Had my egg white frittata for breakfast the a cup of thai pea soup and a tuna patty for lunch, 7 small cheddar rice cakes (my new sub for Doritos) for a snack. For dinner I made miso soup and 2 small chicken breast and veggie kabobs. I ate under 700 calories and felt full (not stuffed) pretty much all day. I think the key for me is the low cal soups. I find that when I eat them with lunch and dinner, I wind up eating less in the end. OH...I broke down and finally bought a mandolin. I cant believe I've resisted for so long. It has cut my time in slicing cucumbers really thin by 2/3. that's important to me because I LOVE having my next to 0 calorie Japanese cucumber salad as a snack in the fridge!

Hello Glen! Cucumber salad is very very thinly sliced cucumber with white vinegar water and a bit of stevia for no calorie sweetness. At the Asian food market they sell no calorie pickled ginger so iadd done of that in there too and a very small dash of seseme oil....a little goes a loooong way with that stuff. When i get hungry i use my chopsticks to eat a few bites out of the container. I just chopsticks so im forced to not grab a ton at a tune

I used a vegetable peeler on cucumbers for a while before breaking down and getting a mandolin this year. Slices much thinner. Yet another gadget for the kitchen!
