DodgeDart's Journal, 22 February 2017

I started a wellness program through our local YMCA on February 13th. I weighed in that night at 473.9 pounds. The heaviest i have been in my life. The nutrionalist has me on a great meal plan and I am working with a personal trainer.

I joined fatsecret yesterday the 21st so i could use it to find exact Protien, Carb, and Fats for the foods i am eating and i figured i would start using this as well to keep track of my intake, exercise, and help hold myself accountable.

The weight on my profile is 10 lbs less than what i put in my journal entry because I last 10 lbs in the first week of eating right and exercising! I also lost 6 inches off my original measurements. Feeling super encouraged with this and am excited to make this my new lifestyle! I am sick of merely exixting, I want to live again and enjoy life!

It's really hard at times to give up food but with time you will lose the weight just remember we didn't gain the weight over night so we can't lose it overnight either.Good luck.

This is the place for recording food (even the "blips"), exercise and your progress. Join one of many challenges; they're fun. But most of all, it is a place that gives you the support you need and deserve. You've got great motivation and goals. Go for it!

Sounds like you have a great attitude! Also, at least on the computer site, you can add historical weight entries so your weight loss timeline accurately reflects your starting weight and weight loss since then!

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it
