Finally made some downward movement on the scale this morning. I went diving and got limit of lobster again (24) and shot several lion fish. Lion fish: the other, other, other white meat. Dang tasty, just don't get poked by one of the poison spines. Man, that hurts! It was beautiful first thing this morning but got really windy. It became a full body work out holding on and keeping your balance. I'm pretty tired actually. I hope everyone had a productive and enjoyable day.

Sounds like a workout. Lion fish? I have to look that one up. I got all the items today for that dish of yours that I am going to recreate for hubby and I. I can't wait. It's happening Saturday. :))

Lion fish is an invasive species from the pacific. It has no marine predators in these waters and has been eating everything on the reefs. We are encouraged to kill them to prevent further impact to indigenous species. They are very pretty but have poisonous spines. I got stuck by one in the Bahamas a couple years ago and very had a bad reaction. I nearly passed out and had to lay on the deck for 2-3 hours, shivering in 90 degree heat. Think of it as childbirth for your hand or whatever body part gets stuck. They are very tasty and plentiful and stupid. Easy to shoot.

Just looked it up. That's an ugly fish. I wouldn't mind eating one once to have the experience. Surely don't want to get stuck with one of those spines. :(( Childbirth pain=no bueno.
