Was hoping to see some '50s on the scale today... but gotta be patient as I keep pushing... and continue to count and lose weight safely and efficiently. I'm about 5 months ahead of schedule with my weight loss... I've been losing 2 pounds per week.... Even if I don't lose a single pound between now and March, I would still have lost an average of one pound per week!
The BIG picture.
I've started being more flexible with what I eat. I've added some more carbs back in.. a Roll here and there. Experimenting to see just how much freedom I have while counting calories in and calories out. I've noticed that since I've been more flexible, I'm hungrier through the day. I make sure I get at least 140 grams of protein per day. Not sure how I feel about being hungrier through the day... Maybe go back to my basics...

Pickles. the same happened to me.. when I add in or eat more, then Im hungrier. Take baby steps here. I struggled ALOT to add stuff in.. my tolerance was/is super low for new foods and I find I do better when I dont add to much back in.. I can do nuts, berries, some additional dairy like cottage cheese once a week and maybe the occasional legumes here and there.. any more than that and im pushing it and the cravings come back.

Thanks!! Yeah, I normally have my 2 or 3 eggs a day, 1 or 2 sticks of cheese, bag of almonds... every day... plus a dinner and other stuff here or there. Last week, I switched up. Ate whatever I wanted, Popeye's, Cheese Steak, Ice Cream, everything I wanted as long as I hit my protein requirement and stayed below calories. I ended up feeling pretty hungry. I still stayed on track with my weight loss, so maybe I can consider it a 'break' one week a month, rather than just change altogether....

I was told that if I feel hungry, I should drink something - water, tea or coffee. I think broth would work too, and my mom used to give us cups of bullion between meals.

I'm with Redgirl on this one. Until I reach my goal, I consider every thing I eat "off" my plan as a cheat. I recognize that my plan is a long term journey. I'm doing LC and CICO. I have to manage my cravings and hunger. Oh, I take it back, I see you are doing WW. Their plan is much less restrictive. If you are staying in your points, you'll be fine. I'm Type II, so the cravings for sweets is all consuming. You're doing great. Stay focused... have a great Monday.

I agree - I learned increasing the carbs a bit caused me to be more hungry this time, too. I do LCHF most of the time and CICO as deficit is the only way to really see progress.
