Well it has been an interesting week thus far. The scale is moving favorable at the moment, but I am unable to accurately account for calories. I visited a buffet that has many chicken and veggie options. So I am certain that I am in a deficit, but not sure how great of a deficit.

Glad the scale is being kind to you :-) I know how hard it can be to figure out your eating when you're not in control. I'd rather guess high on my calories and eat less than the other way around. Buffets have to be off the list for me. The last time I ate at one it was a Chinese Buffet and I had severe reactions to something in the food. It could have been hidden corn starch as I'm allergic to corn or Msg or wheat hidden in things I didn't think would have it. I've learned the hard way to avoid such places because of the serious setback they end up giving me.

Well I ate things like chicken and broccoli and such. I know that the sauces will get you, but these sauces are actually quite light and I drained them out as I scooped it up. It was also my only meal for the day, as I had no time to eat the rest of the day. It was more for the convenience than anything, I didn't want to go home and wait an hour or two for things to cook only to go to bed minutes later. I doubt I ate much more than a thousand calories if that, but I did at least get a little food to eat. I didn't pig out and eat six plates of food and then desert :p.
